Still too bitter to write a recap on this one right now, so let's just see what the papers have to say.
The Chronicle has two articles: Jake Curtis thinks the fair catch interference call was bs, but likes how physical the Cardinal were.
In the wake of Marinelli's comments last week, expect Irish fans to raise a stink about this comment from Golden Boy Clausen being snubbed by Coach Harbaugh: "I stuck my hand out and said, 'Good game, coach.' And [Harbaugh] either didn't see me or didn't want to talk to me," I'm betting on the former, but don't expect the Domers to buy it.
The Mercury-News also focuses on the bogus fair catch call.
The Palo Alto Weekly has a basic game recap.
Youtube highlights, predictably one-sided. The losing team's fans tend not to bother with highlight clips.
Somewhat surprisingly, Notre Dame still isn't ranked. Usually pollsters give the Irish the benefit of the doubt, and you can make an argument for them at 4-1. But they're still in the "others receiving votes" category, at no. 39 (if I counted right). Oregon drops out, but Cal sneaks in at 25.
And from the AP, Trent Edwards goes down with a concussion.
